“ I love small business coffee shops and Speakeasy stands out above all. In the heart of south city, Miranda, the barista extraordinaire, provided the grand tour of this beautiful establishment. Come out and get your caffeine fix. It hosts a calm atmosphere that you wouldn’t get off a Main Street cafe location, and the decor is gorgeous and comfortable. I didn’t add pics on the speakeasy, because it’s just something you have to see in person. ”

Come to find out there’s a legit speakeasy in the basement. The owner, Michael, has become a good friend of mine. I love how he has been updating the menu, more coffee options including protein coffee. The food is delicious, the avocado toast is a fab favorite in the group I bring here. A must stop in. I needed the largest/ strongest cup of coffee I could get and Miranda didn’t disappoint. Aroma and taste was excellent. The chocolate cup cake was just sweet enough but not overly sweet. Absolutely amazing and my home coffee spot from now on. Happened to be there at the right time and made a new friend as well. Was nice talking to you Micheal. Pssst! This place holds a secret . “ Is it possible to fall in love with a coffee shop? It is, indeed. I happened to be in the area and this place popped up in my search for some coffee, little did I know I would be discovering a favorite spot. The breakfast turkey sandwich was amazing, and the mint mocha was delicious. But, the atmosphere transported me to a time where everything felt calm and warm. Michael was amazing and this felt as if I was visiting an old friend. A couple other customers came in while I was waiting for my order and no one was a stranger here. The friendliness, warmth, and coziness of it all gave me the feeling that community still exists. What better feeling than that to go with your coffee? ”
